About the role

At Lyzr, we’re building intelligent, high-performance platforms used in real production environments. This role is for a backend engineer who likes owning systems end-to-end — from clean APIs to scalable architecture in the cloud.

If you enjoy designing robust backend systems, thinking about scale early, and shipping real features (not just tickets), you’ll fit right in.

What you’ll do

Own and build scalable backend systems for production applications
Design and implement REST APIs, microservices, and data models
Architect and deploy backend services on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.)
Build resilient systems that handle real traffic and failure scenarios
Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to ship end-to-end features
Optimize for performance, reliability, and scalability
Drive code quality, security, and backend best practices

What we’re looking for

3–5 years of backend development experience with end-to-end ownership
Strong hands-on experience with Python, FastAPI, MongoDB, and Docker
Experience building and shipping GenAI-powered applications
Solid understanding of scalable systems and distributed architectures
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring
Ability to translate product requirements into clean technical solutions
Strong debugging skills and clear communication

Nice to have

Startup or fast-paced product experience
Exposure to AI/ML systems or microservice architectures
Experience in fintech or e-commerce platforms
