Role Overview

We are seeking an energetic and analytical Associate Product Manager (APM) to join our Applied AI team in Bengaluru. This is a foundational role for someone passionate about agentic AI, enterprise software, and building products that solve real-world problems at scale. You'll work directly with senior product managers, engineering, design, and customer-facing teams to drive the development of AI agent features and capabilities that enterprises depend on.

This role is ideal for individuals who want to immerse themselves in the comprehensive strategic process of bringing AI agent products from idea to production, with hands-on exposure to BFSI, service, and other enterprise domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Development & Feature Ownership: Assist in defining product requirements, writing user stories, and prioritizing features in the product backlog for AI agent capabilities. Own small product areas or features end-to-end.

• Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research to understand enterprise AI adoption trends, analyze competitor offerings, and identify opportunities for differentiation in the agentic AI landscape.

• Customer Insights & User Research: Engage directly with enterprise customers to gather feedback, conduct user interviews, and validate hypotheses about agent workflows, pain points, and use cases across BFSI

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams (core platform, applied AI, DevOps), design, marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure seamless product development and alignment with business goals.

• Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze product performance metrics, user engagement data, and post-launch KPIs to identify improvement areas and propose iterations. Track success metrics for AI agent deployments.

• Product Documentation: Maintain detailed product specifications, PRDs (Product Requirements Documents), user stories, and release notes to ensure transparency and alignment across teams.

• Agent Use Case Development: Help define and refine AI agent use cases for enterprise workflows such as customer support automation, supplier onboarding, dispute management, compliance, RFP processing, and knowledge management.

• Roadmap Planning Support: Contribute to product roadmap planning by gathering input from customers, analyzing market trends, and working with senior PMs to prioritize initiatives that align with Lyzr's vision of Organizational General Intelligence (OGI).

• Stakeholder Communication: Prepare presentations, product updates, and status reports for internal stakeholders and customers. Communicate progress, learnings, and blockers effectively.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.

• 0-2 years of experience in product management, product marketing, consulting, engineering, or related roles (fresh graduates from top-tier institutions with strong product sense are encouraged to apply).

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.

• Excellent communication skills – ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Demonstrated passion for AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies. Understanding of LLMs, AI agents, or generative AI is a strong plus.

• Experience working in cross-functional teams or leading small projects/initiatives.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Customer-centric mindset with empathy for enterprise user needs and pain points.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to enterprise software, BFSI, B2B SaaS, or AI/ML products.

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience participating in sprint-based development cycles.

• Knowledge of BFSI domain, banking operations, insurance workflows, or enterprise automation use cases.

• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, or customer interviews.

• Technical background or ability to engage with engineering teams on implementation details.

• Prior internship or work experience in product roles at tech startups or enterprise software companies.
