Senior Core Engineer (Platform Team)- US
Senior Core Engineer: design and ship robust, production-grade agent stack components; mentor engineers; own cloud-native services with clarity and care.
About Lyzr
Lyzr is the full-stack agent infrastructure platform that lets enterprises build, govern, and deploy a secure, autonomous AI workforce. Where most companies run a handful of copilots, Lyzr is the layer that lets them run an entire AI workforce in production — governed, reliable, and at scale.
Backed by Accenture and trusted across banking, insurance, sales, marketing, HR, and customer service, Lyzr offers a “third way” for enterprise AI: the flexibility of an open platform combined with the security of a managed platform, deployed inside the customer’s own environment for full data privacy and IP ownership.
The Platform team builds the engine underneath all of it: the agent framework and its core components — orchestration, tool execution, agent memory, RAG, Text2SQL, guardrails, and observability.
The Role
As a Senior Core Engineer, you lead the development of key systems within our agent stack. You bring strong system design and clean architecture instincts, and you ship high-quality components quickly and reliably.
You’ll work across the core agent framework — orchestration, memory, RAG, tool execution, guardrails, and observability — collaborating deeply across teams and mentoring junior engineers as you go.
What You’ll Do
Lead development of key systems within the agent stack from design through delivery
Apply strong system design and clean architecture to build maintainable, well-structured components
Ship high-quality features quickly and reliably, with a focus on correctness and edge cases
Operate confidently in cloud-native environments, owning your services in production
Mentor junior engineers and collaborate deeply across product and platform teams
Contribute to design reviews and help uphold engineering quality standards
What We’re Looking For
Strong, current Python fundamentals and solid system design instincts
Track record of shipping high-quality components quickly and reliably
Comfort operating in cloud-native environments (AWS or similar) with CI/CD workflows
Experience building or contributing to non-trivial backend or platform systems
Ability to mentor others and collaborate effectively across teams
Nice to Have
Experience with agent or LLM components: orchestration, memory, RAG, Text2SQL, or guardrails
Go experience
Familiarity with observability tooling — logging, metrics, and distributed tracing
Exposure to vector databases and retrieval systems
