About the Role

Lyzr is looking for a QA Engineer to join the Product Team. You'll own quality across our product surface — from manual and automated test cycles to cross-browser and API testing — and help us ship reliably as we scale. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys breaking things intelligently and building the tooling to catch issues before customers do.

What You'll Do

• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test plans across product releases

• Build and extend automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver and related tooling

• Run cross-browser testing using platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs

• Write test scripts and automation code in Java, Python, or another suitable language

• Perform functional, regression, performance, and load testing across the product

• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured

• Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution, working closely with engineering

Must-Have Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in manual and automated testing

• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and related tools

• Experience using cross-browser testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs

• Strong knowledge of Java, Python, or another programming language for test automation

• Solid understanding of software testing concepts (functional, regression, performance, load, etc.)

Nice to Have

• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured

• Exposure to AI-based testing tools or approaches

1. Round 1 — Technical Screen: A panel discussion with Naveen, Bhoomika, and Nilesh covering your manual and automation testing experience, problem-solving approach, and hands-on skills.

2. Round 2 — Deep Dive: A more in-depth technical conversation with Bikash, focused on real-world testing scenarios and how you approach quality at scale.

3. Round 3 — Final Round: A concluding discussion with Suyash to assess overall fit for the team and role.

We aim to share feedback within 48 hours of each interview stage, and keep the overall process as fast as possible so you're never left wondering where things stand.
